Department of Psychiatry
The Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network Department of Psychiatry offers a comprehensive continuum of adolescent, adult and elderly mental health programs including inpatient and day treatment services for adolescents, adults and the elderly, a mental health clinic and other outpatient services, and a county-funded transitional program. Using an integrated treatment approach, board-certified psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses and certified addiction counselors tap into the knowledge of the hospital's other medical experts through the Consultation-Liaison Service. Also supporting this department is psychiatric rehabilitation services, providing recreation, occupational and creative arts therapies.
